For Things to Change for You, You've Got to Change.

One of the greatest orators and teachers I have ever had the privilege of sitting with in conference once said to me “For things to change for you, you've got to change”. E. James Rohn Learn more from Jim Rohn at www.jimrohn.com

In the light of this revelation I would like to offer the following:
Earlier today, one of our more active members asked me a question which deserves some attention and sharing with to the membership base, due to the learning opportunity it represents. I hope you'll bear with me through this.

The story goes: I contacted a person in my downline today, since she has not yet activated her email address. She said she doesn't remember signing up and that she's too busy to even be bothered with our company. Should we delete her from my downline?

To which I responded:
No, just keep her on your mailing list until and unless she resigns. Something she reads may capture her attention at some future stage. Just because she's “too busy” now doesn't mean that won't change in the future.

Why did I say that?
Because most people who are "too busy" to be bothered with the WCC are making NO MONEY  doing the program they are "too busy" with. That's why they are “too busy”. Too busy sending out adverts and too busy trying to find new people to market their product to, to be bothered looking at what is arguably the greatest marketing tool ever to take up space on the Internet, The World Conference Center. I'll explain my reason for making this statement further down this document.

They are too busy competing with every other MLM program out there, which is offering a system and a product so similar in price, marketing strategy, remuneration plan and most other aspects of the product they are promoting. The cold, hard facts are that the average person who ever joins an MLM program will sponsor 2 people, and of all the people who ever join an MLM or networking business, MOST WILL FAIL. There are some very good reasons for this. Please allow me to deal with a few of the most common ones.

Firstly: The vast majority of people, with very few exceptions, who are trying to market a tangible MLM product over the Internet are failing, big time. Tangibles, MLM and Internet just don't fit together very well for most people. Here is one of the major causes as I see it, and I'm sure those of you who are, or ever have been successful in any form of network marketing will agree with this statement. Building Relationships of Trust is vital to success in any networking operation. This means that you have to market yourself harder than you market your product. Once people gain a trust for you, then they will trust your product or service more, resulting in higher success levels for you.

Secondly: Many people seem to be of the opinion that they can just send out a few emails over safe lists and do a few click exchanges and SEO operations and they will be successful Internet marketers. WRONG!

How can you sell yourself if you never contact your prospects personally? People like to deal with people and they like to know the people with whom they are dealing. People do not like to deal with machines, computers are essentially members of the machine family. Internet marketing campaigns need to be followed up with lots of personal contact, for those who would be successful networkers or MLMers over the Internet.

Most people using the Internet to market don't even possess that knowledge, never mind have the ability to actually use the knowledge in an empowering manner. They log onto the Internet, thinking there is a  great ocean of money just waiting for them to swim in. The reality is... They are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! There IS an ocean of money for them to swim in on the Internet. However, another reality is that, to be successful at Internet marketing, you have to work harder than you do with face-to-face marketing, due to the fact that you are dealing with people via machines, not in face-to-face situations.

If people are not prepared to learn the necessary skills, and to work even harder for their dollars than they would in a face-to-face situation, then they are going to fail on the Internet.  There is no question about that. Failure will be the result.

Then they are left with a bad taste in their mouths about the Internet. They will blame the Internet itself, the networking business, their upline, their downline, the power failures, the service outages the slow Internet connection and everything that goes with it, rather than accept responsibility that their own lack of determination, and their own lack of skill and unwillingness to invest in self education and skill level raising as the cause of their failure. “You have to work harder on yourself than you do on your job, your business or your profession”. E. James Rohn

For things to change for you, you first have to first change yourself. You have to change the way you think. If you always do what you've always done, you'll always have what you've always had. Who said that? I have no idea.

We need to be in a perpetual state of learning. Learn new skills, develop new talents, try new things. Problem is, that is just too hard for most people. That is why, no matter what they try, they will never succeed. Until we learn this one lesson, “for things to change for you, you've got to change”, the doors of prosperity will probably always remain closed. How do I know that? Because for years I was hoping things would change for me, but it is only when I was prepared to change the way I thought, and the things I as prepared to do, that things began to change for me. That's how I know.

The World Conference Center offers the perfect environment for learning these skills and for getting and keeping in touch with your upline and your downline, wherever you may be in the world, at a very reasonable cost to you as an individual and/or as a business person.
